Thrilled to finally meet my long-time hero today, @esdevlin a truly inspirational figure and trailblazer for women in design everywhere. "I have always imagined that paradise will be some kind of a library” said Jorges Luis Borges, and I think I agree with him. I love to forage in second-hand book shops, or better still curl up with a good book in my own study – it’s more important to me than the kitchen.

Libraries seem to be making a comeback, in recent years more and more clients are requesting a book room, a study or a library and we have been lucky enough not only to design them but intelligently curate what goes on the shelves, mixing pictures and objects with books. Scroll through for a selection - everything from children’s bookshelves, where imaginary worlds come alive, to the Zoom Room in our Mayfair apartment building, to fumed oak walled libraries in a heritage home.
