Selfridges – A Pop Up

Inspired by Richard Avedon’s iconic photograph of Marilyn Monroe, this pop-up design for Selfridges department store included a five-storey Christmas installation of shimmering sequins and light suspended in the main atrium. The design concept was to animate the space using light on a timed sequence to mimic the effect of festive Champagne bubbles popping up to the top of the atrium wearing its Christmas party dress.
