The project involves the full refurbishment of an existing 70’s Provençal-style house by Robert Dallas. Set on an elevated site in a serene garden setting with panoramic views of the snow-capped Alps, the old village of St Paul and the Mediterranean coastline. In addition, there is a new build guesthouse made from local stone and board-marked concrete, which draws inspiration from its neighbour, Foundation Maeght Art Gallery. The guesthouse is a contemporary new building that nestles comfortably into the landscape adjacent to an emerald green swimming pool.

In collaboration with garden designer Chris Moss, the studio has reworked the grounds to create shaded pavilions, interconnected paths and incidental places to sit, while maximising views and colour from the Mediterranean planting.
